Wildlife Migration
With old man Winter rapidly approaching, wildlife in mountains are preparing by migrating to warmer spots. Out and about exploring the backroads of Gilpin County, I came across this cautious group of Elk.

Big horn sheep taking a moment to relax and feed before moving onto the next location. They seem quite use to humans - I was able to get pretty close to them, even though I was shooting at 400mm focal length. This group of big horn sheep were right off highway 6, about 10 or so miles away from Golden, Colorado.
